Cwm Gwyrdd Nantycaws is an 84 hectare strategic site on the A48, just 15 minutes from the M4 and on the key transport corridor serving West Wales’ energy sector and ports. The vision is to create a self-sufficient, low-carbon hub powered by on-site solar generation, battery storage and emerging technologies such as hydrogen.
A new state-of-the-art Resource Recovery Facility opening in Spring 2026 will significantly expand regional capacity to produce high-quality recycled commodities. This will anchor a Circular Economy Manufacturing Zone, providing space for green innovation, advanced materials reuse and sustainable product development.
The masterplan also includes 30,000 sq ft of modern light-industrial space for SMEs, a large-scale EV charging network for commercial and public use, and an R&D hub in partnership with regional universities. The site will support skills, training and research aligned with the growing green economy.
